Case of carbon dioxide gas expansion construction at Shuijiang Jixin Construction Site
The construction site of Shuijiang Jixin is located in Fangjiawan, Shuijiang Town, Nanchuan District. This project mainly involves leveling the factory land and crushing the mined stones for self-use and takeout.
The total volume of the project is approximately 200,000 cubic meters. The original plan for this construction site was to use civil explosives. However, as it is adjacent to the purified water pool of China Aluminum Corporation and less than 50 meters away from the construction site, the construction party was concerned about potential safety hazards. After a comprehensive comparison from multiple aspects, they decided to adopt the safest construction method and thus chose the carbon dioxide static cracking method of Chongqing Chuangpuda Machinery Technology Co., LTD. The planned construction period of the construction party is 8 months, with a budgeted cost of approximately 3.2 million yuan. It is now basically coming to an end. Judging from the current progress, about 2 months of time has been saved and 1.1 million yuan has been saved.
The choice of carbon dioxide cracking makes them more proficient. This product has no vibration waves or flying stones, and the operation procedure is simple. Now their hole spacing is 3.5*3.5*5.5 meters. After cracking and loosening, a 490-type gun is used for a second reduction. Every day, they used an average of 80 fracturing pipes, with an output of approximately 5,500 cubic meters. At the peak, they cracked 130 pipes at one time.
From this, it can be concluded that although the blasting process with explosives is simple and the blasting efficiency is relatively high, due to its strong destructive power, it can easily affect the surrounding buildings and the environment of residents. Moreover, it causes serious noise and dust pollution, which is not environmentally friendly. The risk factor is also relatively high, so the approval of blasting is becoming increasingly difficult now.
